We are looking for Management Accountant to join our team. This role will be based at our Atkins office in Yelahanka, Bangalore,IN.
How will you contribute to the team?
To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
• 4+ years of experience working in the accounting function of a sizeable international company
• Technically proficient in preparing and reviewing management accounts, budget and forecasts
• Good inter-personal skills and comfortable in dealing with senior colleagues
• Experience in working for a consultancy business, especially an engineering consultancy, would be a significant advantage
• Knowledge and experience of the following would be an advantage: JD Edwards; Oracle EBS; Hyperion HFM; PBCS
• Excellent Excel spreadsheet skills and exposure to Power BI
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise own workload
• Strong sense of ownership, drive and ability to deliver results
• Great attention to detail
• Good team player with positive attitude
• Strong planning and problem-solving skills with an ability to analyze information and processes
What will you contribute?
• Support Month end GL close process with P&L analysis and commentaries.
• Prepare Journal entries such as Prepayment, Accruals, Reclass
• Balance Sheet reconciliation for GL accounts such as Prepayment, Accruals etc
• Retrieve reports such as Job costing and Expenses from ERP and use it for analysis
• Variance analysis of Actual Vs Budget/Forecast relating to Staff and other costs.
• Business Partnering – review financial performance with the budget owners, attend to the business queries on time sheets, invoices/expenses etc.
• Ad hoc projects and support to the Business leaders
