We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our client, a pioneering industry leader in innovative research and development. This role is pivotal in enhancing financial and business decision-making through the analysis and presentation of key financial data.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in optimising financial and business decisions by analysing and presenting key financial data.
Prepare financial reports and budgets.
Manage month-end accounting tasks, handle payroll processes, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Compile financial reports and create budgets.
Handle month-end accounting tasks, such as reconciliations and journal entries.
Oversee payroll processes and related reporting.
Prepare month-end compliance documentation.
Support audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Develop and enforce cost-effective financial policies and procedures to minimise financial risks.
Maintain financial records and ensure the protection of sensitive and confidential information.
About You
3 to 5 years of experience as a management accountant or in professional services.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Relevant certification (such as CPA or CA).
Strong understanding of risk analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
Proficient in financial software and MS Office.
Outstanding attention to detail.
Excellent leadership, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
