Management Accountant - Fixed Assets Faversham, Kent (Hybrid working 3-4 days in office) £40-45k pa On behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturing business in the Faversham area, we are seeking a talented Management Accountant with a strong focus on fixed assets to join their finance team. Our client, a leader in their industry with a rich heritage spanning several centuries, is looking for an analytical and detail-oriented professional to take on this crucial role within their finance department. Key responsibilities: Oversee fixed asset accounting, including processing asset requests, disposals, and depreciation Produce monthly financial reports and analysis for senior management Prepare and manage capital expenditure budgets and forecasts Reconcile fixed asset register to the general ledger Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and tax returns Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting Identify and implement process improvements in financial operations Support ad-hoc projects and analysis as required by the Financial Controller The ideal candidate: Accountant with Fixed asset accounting experience Expertise in fixed asset accounting and related processes Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication abilities and team player mentality Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Our client offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Generous company pension scheme Employee discount program Opportunities for professional development and career growth Flexible working arrangements This is an excellent opportunity for a driven accounting professional to join a respected company with a strong local presence.
