Management Accountant - £60-65k - Manchester Central - Office Based
I am currently partnered with a market leading and rapidly growing SAAS business based in Manchester Victoria. Joining a finance team of circa 35 finance professionals, the successful candidate will join the new CFO in playing a pivotal role in transforming the finance function and business partnering with senior stakeholders to improve automations and internal controls. This role would suit an ACA qualified first or second time mover, or an ACCA/CIMA industry qualified professional.
Due to the nature of the role, this position is based onsite in Victoria, paying a salary of £60-65k plus excellent benefits.
Responsibilities;
• Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth
• Provide accurate and sound management reporting to assist with key decision making
• Produce month end and year end journals
• Prepare statutory and management accounts
• Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process
• Produce financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
• Review accounting processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations
Must Have;
• Fully chartered accountant status - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Experience business partnering with internal stakeholders
• Strong, confident attitude
• Inquisitive nature
Desirable;
• Big Four Accountancy Practice background
• Experience using Access Dimensions
• Strong Excel skills (V-Look Up, Pivot Table, SUMIFS)
