The US Management Accountant will take full ownership of financial operations for our clients US entity while being based in the UK.
Reporting into the Global FC, the Management Accountant, you will develop best-in-class processes, enhance visibility of financial performance, and support the continued growth of US operations.
Client Details
Our exclusive North Kent based client, a large manufacturing company, has a significant presence in the UK and beyond, and due to significant growth and are now seeking a Management Accountant to work closely with sales, project and operations teams. The successful candidate will have one US based direct report, support end-to-end financial reporting, cash flow forecasting, and commercial decision-making.
Please note, this role is office based Monday to Friday.
Description
Management Accountant duties include:
• Complete all aspects of month-end close for the US entity, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
• Prepare and submit accurate monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis and commentary.
• Coordinate the submission of US payroll and federal/state tax filings in partnership with external advisers.
• Support US statutory audit processes and liaise with auditors as required.
• Prepare rolling cash flow forecasts and provide insight to support working capital management.
• Oversee accounts payable processing and approvals.
• Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are accurate and up to date.
• Act as the key representative for the US business in the global ERP (Epicor) implementation within next 6-12 months.
• Work closely with global finance and leadership teams to align reporting and support strategic decision-making.
• Managing and supporting x1 report
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have/ be:
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with relevant experience in a similar role.
• Proven track record of working in a multi-entity or international environment.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across departments.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving business.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and ERP system experience in QuickBooks/ Epicor is desirable.
• Will consider a driven first stepper from practice.
Ideally a driver to get to location!

• A competitive salary range of £50,000 to £55,000, depending on experience + 10% bonus
