• Technical Governance: Provide technical leadership and governance to ensure development activities align with our high standards for architecture, quality, and maintainability.
• Innovate Boldly: Work alongside architects and engineers to confirm design decisions and implementation approaches that push the boundaries of healthcare tech.
• Make Things Happen: Manage scope and deliverables for the technical roadmap, ensuring the team stays focused on the highest-priority, highest-impact projects.
• Process Evolution: Identify and drive process improvements and efficiencies, championing the adoption of high-value Agile/Scrum practices.
• Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate with Product, QA, Operations, and Support to resolve production issues and turn complex requirements into scalable solutions.
• Audit & Mentor: Conduct code and architecture audits to ensure our platform remains globally accessible, scalable, and secure.
What You Bring to the Team
The Essentials:
• Leadership Experience: 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams in a web-based service environment.
• Agile Mastery: 3+ years of experience leading teams within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Technical Depth: A strong understanding of object-oriented design, SQL, relational databases, and the lifecycle of scalable web applications.
• Operational Excellence: Familiarity with ALM tools for source control, CI/CD, and various testing tiers (Unit, Integration, Performance, Vulnerability).
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills, with the ability to influence and energize others toward a common vision.
• Proactive Ownership: A self-motivated approach to problem-solving and a strong commitment to quality and architecture.
