Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. This role will manage our card rewards accounting operations among other responsibilities for the revenue accounting team. This role will involve a high level of cross functional collaboration with teams outside of accounting. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting related to our card products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting operations and a proven track record of building out new processes.
• Collaborate with sales, FP&A, product, and engineering teams to align on how to operate new features for the card rewards offering.
• Diagnose and resolve any issues with automation of the card rewards offering
• Oversee the calculations of card rewards expense and liability
• Take on additional responsibilities within the revenue accounting team
• Oversee team members working on rewards and other revenue team tasks
We’d love to chat if you have:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Certified Public Accountant
• Strong background in accounting operations.
• Proven track record of building out new processes.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration.
• 4+ years of experience in a Big 4 / regional public accounting firm or 6+ years within accounting at a publicly-traded company
• Experience auditing and/or performing SOX controls
• The ability to deal with rapidly changing internal and external environments
• Experience managing and mentoring individuals
• Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation
• Ability to work collaboratively with others as an effective, responsive partner
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects, priorities and complete objectives on time
The estimated base salary range for this role is noted below for our office location in Draper, UT. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in BILL’s bonus and equity plan. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.

$+7,200—$121,100 USD
