Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. The Candidate should be responsible for the end-to-end closing of Book of accounts, including Sales and Operating Expenses.
2. Candidate from a company with revenue of around Rs. 1,500 Crores or a candidate from multinational, handling a counterpart company with similar sales level.
3. The candidate should have experience in handling and having an oversight of all the accounting processes. He should be aware of the entire process even if the subordinate is executing the activities.
4. Should have Manufacturing background. Candidate handling a trading unit of a big size company not preferable.
5. Candidates handling only consolidation or working at corporate level compiling information from various plants/units not preferable.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
▪ Chartered Accountant with 4-5 years of post-qualification experience in financial reporting and controlling, preferably in the manufacturing or nutraceutical industry.
▪ Profound knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS and US GAAP) and internal controls.
▪ Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
▪ Expertise in accounting software and administration (e.g., Syspro, SAP, Oracle).
▪ Advanced MS Excel skills
▪ Accuracy and attention to detail coupled with aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
▪ Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
▪ Ability to work independently, manage large workloads, and keep deadlines.
