Industry: ManufacturingReports To: Managing Director / CEORole OverviewManager Accounts and Finance is responsible for managing the overall financial health of the manufacturing organization. This role involves strategic financial planning, accurate reporting, cost and inventory oversight, regulatory compliance, and effective team leadership. The position ensures that financial operations support business growth, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainability.---Core Responsibilities1. Financial Strategy and PlanningDevelop and implement financial policies, long-term financial goals, and business strategies.Collaborate with senior leadership to support strategic planning, investment decisions, and growth initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions.Analyze market and industry trends to guide financial strategy and risk management.2. Budgeting and ForecastingLead the budgeting process and prepare detailed annual budgets.Develop financial forecasts for revenues, costs, and capital expenditures.Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective measures to maintain financial discipline.3. Financial Reporting and AnalysisOversee preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and tax filings.Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and present insights to executive management.Ensure accuracy, transparency, and integrity of financial data.4. Cost and Inventory ManagementSupervise cost accounting activities including production costs, material usage, and overhead allocation.Manage inventory processesreceipt, storage, valuation, and distributionto prevent discrepancies and minimize carrying costs.Implement measures to optimize cost efficiency throughout the manufacturing cycle.5. Cash Flow and Treasury ManagementMonitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and overall liquidity.Manager relationship with Bankers and stakeholdersOversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit control.Handle banking relationships, financial negotiations, and treasury operations.6. Regulatory Compliance and AuditsEnsure compliance with all statutory financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards.Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely filing of all statutory dues.Implement strong internal controls and risk mitigation measures.7. Team Leadership and DevelopmentLead, mentor, and evaluate the finance and accounting team.Set performance targets and promote a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.Provide training and skill development opportunities.8. Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with operations, supply chain, production, sales, and HR to support data-driven decision-making.Partner with departments to drive process improvements and financial efficiency across the organization.9.
