FinancialThe wider Bank Operations Center is responsible for providing standard and niche cash management services to the relevant Diageo subsidiaries and have an impact on all transactions posted to the entities bank accounts practically on the complete operating cash-flow of the in-house bank serviced companies as well as specialized end-to-end cash management services for selected subsidiaries.There are 100 entities migrated onto the in-house bank model, which scope may be extended in the futureThe scope of the role is covering entities migrated to DBSI with essentially Diageo-wide global coverageBOC is handling approx. 600 Diageo bank accounts and a yearly cash-flow of GBP33bnVarious projects related to the in-house bank operationsDirect impact on subsidiaries cash balances and funding activity hence direct impact on Group cash positionDiageos global Financial Facilities Portfolio containing approx. 1500 individual facilitiesAnnually 150 capital allocation and business development projectsBank Operations Controlling Manager is responsible for the following areas:Leading the SME support for projects:Business Development initiativesGroup Treasury and other Group functions initiativesSimplification-Standardization-Automation initiativesFull visibility and lifecycle management of Diageo's financial facilities and its compliance to established global standards. Full visibility and lifecycle management of Diageo's bank account infrastructure with global partner banks Readiness, sufficiency and development of banking systems Providing / Leading SME support for any other areas where Bank Operations involvement is requiredMarket ComplexityBank Operations Center is part of Diageos Financial Experience tower within internal Business Shared Services. Due to the nature of the included responsibilities the team cooperates with 100 in-market companies and their finance leadership as well as global functions such as Group Treasury, Group Reporting, Group Tax, Group and Local Legal, Project Management Office as well as other teams and senior leadership in Financial Control.Bank Operations Center consists of the following areas:In-house Cash: Management of Diageos multiple in-house banks including their full internal-facing operations from cash management, cash concentration, risk management, financial instruments trading and intra-group settlements to treasury accounting and reporting.Bank Account Management: includes bank accounting, and niche cash management services to selected subsidiaries as well as intra-group settlements.Bank Operations Controlling: includes centralized lifecycle management of Diageos financial facilities portfolio and bank account infrastructure, owns banking systems landscape, service extension to other Diageo subsidiaries and pioneering experimental service offerings as well as leading cash and accounting/reporting execution of Diageos capital allocation and business development projects.Bank Operations Controlling Manager is responsible for driving operations and development for the Bank Operations Controlling agenda above including key internal and external collaborator relationships
