Manager - Corporate Tax

This is a hybrid position in Canberra. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.


Your key responsibilities


Managing a portfolio of diverse growth clients including corporate groups, trusts, privately owned business, high net wealth families. Be a key point of contact for our clients, requiring you to collaborate with our specialist teams in bringing expertise to our clients including in the areas of international tax and transfer pricing, tax controversy, transactions, and employment taxes.
Collaborate with the leadership team and oversee tax compliance, including preparation and review of income tax returns and tax accounting calculations, financial statements, tax planning, employment taxes, and assisting on advisory services for extensive domestic and international client groups featuring diverse entity types such as companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
Deliver a full spectrum of taxation advisory services tailored to client needs, while supporting senior team members in complex tax engagements, including intricate tax matters such as restructures, domestic and international transactions, ATO risk reviews, audits, and ruling application processes, with the backing of Australia’s top tax technicians.
Supervise and mentor the team, including senior consultants, consultants, and graduates, by acting as a 'Counsellor' for junior members, fostering their career development, and contributing to a positive team culture that promotes high performance, collaboration, and celebrates successes.

Skills and attributes for success


Relevant tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Accounting or Tax
CA or equivalent qualification
Minimum 5+ years experience providing tax compliance or business advisory services to a range of entities: company, trust, high-net worth individuals and private family groups.
You genuinely value helping your clients and team.

Salary: We offer a competitive salary which is open to negotiation pending on skills and experience.
