Manager - Costing & Budgeting
As a strategic business partner, collaborate cross-functionally with various departments including Engineering, Production, Quality, and HR to ensure seamless financial operations and analytics for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage the plant's annual budget.
• Monitor financial performance and provide forecasts.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities.
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
• Contribute to the accuracy and completeness of monthly financial statements, including trial balance, profit and loss accounts, and balance sheet analysis.
• Assist in the timely completion of statutory and quarterly audits, collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Cost Analysis & Control:
• Analyze production costs, labor expenses, and material costs.
• Monitor and control variances in production costs.
• Ensure accurate cost accounting and inventory valuation.
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards, and regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a Cost Accountant (CA or CMA).
• 3-8 years of experience in SAP, particularly in the costing module.
• Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating a strong understanding of Indian tax laws, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
