Job Description
Budget Analysis:
Collaborate with heads to gather budget input and build comprehensive annual operating budgets.
Budgeting: helping follow up on the budgets and inform if any deviation as per the plan to support the company's financial health
Analyse historical data and market trends to create realistic budget projections.
Track budget variances and identify areas for cost optimization.
Financial Forecasting:
Develop short-term and long-term financial forecasts based on business plans and market conditions.
Monitor key financial metrics and adjust forecasts as needed.
Conduct scenario analysis to assess potential risks and opportunities.
Performance Analysis:
Prepare regular financial reports and dashboards to track performance against budget and forecast.
Identify trends and key drivers of financial performance.
Conduct deep dives into specific areas to understand variances and provide actionable insights.
Accounting:
· Ensuring compliance with all Income Tax provisions, including TDS and advance tax.
· Ensuring adherence to GST and including filing returns and addressing queries.
· Auditing financial documents to ensure they are accurate and maintaining the confidentiality of the financial data
· Suggesting financial policies and procedures based on the overall financial status
· Managing the company’s accounts to ensure on-time payment and overseeing the software system for financial needs
· Maintain the privacy of financial information, and when necessary, backup databases
· Rectify any anomalies or inconsistencies they discover in the financial document
· Assess accounting software applications and accounting control procedures
· Make and evaluate the organisation’s year-end financial accounts
· Closure of books of accounts annually, half-yearly, and quarterly in compliance with IND AS.
· Preparation of detailed yearly budgets, financial projections, and variance analysis.
· Optimal hedging of forex exposure considering economic trends and events.
Required Skills:
· Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
· Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
· Excellent communication skills to present financial information to senior management.
· Expertise in budgeting software and financial planning tools.
· Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
· Good Understanding of Tax filing systems like (GST, Income Tax, PF Etc)
WORK EXPERIENCE
· Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience working in Financial Planning and Accounting
· 0-3 years Assistant Chartered Accountant or Postgraduate Commerce Graduate with over 5 years of Experience in Real Estate
