Job Description – PLI Compliance & Reporting Specialist
Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced professional with strong knowledge of the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme to manage compliance, certification, and reporting activities. The role involves coordinating with statutory auditors, testing agencies, and government bodies while driving digital and automation initiatives to streamline PLI processes.
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Ensure comprehensive understanding and compliance with the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme of MHI.
Prepare and manage reports/data for existing product certifications under PLI.
Coordinate with Testing Agencies, Statutory Auditors, and other stakeholders for certification of AAT products.
Compile and submit periodic data for Quarterly Review Reports (QRRs) and respond to data requests from MHI/IFCI/ARAI.
Monitor and track Domestic Value Addition (DVA) for new products and ensure annual re-validation of DVA for certified products.
Drive digital and automation initiatives, including API development to support PLI reporting and compliance.
Prepare PLI claims with supporting data, ensure certification from Statutory Auditors, and file with MHI/IFCI.
Support internal teams with accurate documentation and ensure timely submissions as per compliance timelines.
Desired Candidate Profile
Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, or related field; MBA/Finance background preferred.
Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in an Automobile / Manufacturing company working on PLI schemes.
Strong knowledge of PLI scheme guidelines, certification processes, and DVA tracking.
Prior exposure to compliance reporting, statutory audits, and product certification.
Good analytical and documentation skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office, Data Management, and ERP tools (SAP preferred).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate with government agencies, auditors, and internal teams.
