Manager Housing and Wellbeing Support - Greater Wellington Region at Kainga Ora – Homes and Communities, WellingtonAre you an experienced leader, motivated by building capability and improving practice?This is a genuine opportunity to influence and shape the service delivery in the Wellington regionFull time, permanent position with a salary of $156,83+ + 5 weeks' annual leave + insurancesThe Manager Housing and Wellbeing Support sets and delivers strategy for how we engage with and support our public housing customers and whanau living in the Wellington Region.
You will be leading and supporting a team to translate our strategic vision and look for new and innovative ways to be responsive to the changing needs of our customers.
You will also lead engagement with key external stakeholders, including service providers, government agencies and community groups to build strong collaborative relationships to enable delivery of effective support to our public housing customers.
Key Responsibilities:Lead and coach high performing teams and manage service delivery operations with an agency, social work services or comparable organisation.Create a culture of accountability while looking after people, maintaining high integrity and clear communication.Make decisions consistent with our strategic direction, demonstrating sound ethical judgement.Ensure the safety and wellbeing of our people through effective Health and Safety risk mitigation and management.Maintain a focus on community needs and the challenges they face.Develop collaborative relationships with agencies, support service providers, and the broader community.Support an aligned approach to customers' aspirations and preferences, particularly with Maori and Pacific Peoples.Utilize financial and analytical skills to work with budgets, identify trends, and improve practices.At Kainga Ora, we have the important responsibility of transforming New Zealand's housing choices, outcomes and the entire housing sector by creating homes and communities that allow New Zealanders to thrive.
