ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Director, Employee Experience, Technology and Shared Services, this position ensures People, Equity and Culture (PEC) alignment with business digital transformation objectives, promotes operational excellence, oversees service quality, drives process improvements, and enhances the employee and manager experience. This position is pivotal in translating data into business insights and ensuring the seamless integration of technology initiatives with corporate digital direction. Once onboarded, this position will transition to the newly established ERP PMO as the functional PEC Lead.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
• Provides oversight and subject matter expertise for PEC technology and workforce analytics programs and initiatives, including roadmap development, business case development, measurement of results, and interpretation of related research and trends.
• Acts as the PEC functional Lead in the ERP PMO. Will manage subject matter experts assigned to the project.
• Monitors and evaluates issues and trends, offering solutions and advice to support business objectives and informed decision-making.
• Leads, influences, and provides governance on PEC Technology initiatives, ensuring software decisions align with corporate direction and integrate with existing systems and functional best practices.
• Accountable for managing the PEC Shared Services Center including the establishment of the PEC service catalogue, service quality measures and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure a positive employee and manager experience.
• Manage and provide oversight for the PEC Shared Services team, including operational teams, reception, candidate testing, and filing.
• Champions PEC process redesign/re-engineering to increase use of technology, data integrity and security, improve the customer experience, simplify existing processes, reduce hand-offs, and improve consistency.
• Provides leadership in the design, development, implementation, and delivery of a standardized framework for workforce analytics and reporting, and implements tools and strategies to translate raw data into valuable business insights.
• Identify opportunities for structure, resourcing, process, and procedure improvements and implement changes to enhance service delivery in collaboration with PEC and/or Centers of Expertise (COEs).
• Accountable for all aspects of the Division’s budget development procedures, establishes performance measures and analyzes and reports on the programs' results and trends.
• Provides input in development of, business/work plans, staffing proposals etc., as required.
• Researches, prepares and presents reports for the Senior Management, and for Council and committees as required.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Successful completion of a University Degree in a related field or approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in a technology solutions senior professional or program leadership role, with proven contributions to large-scale software implementations and business process improvements in a complex, matrixed organization, including a minimum of two (2) years of direct supervisory experience.
• Lean Six Sigma, Project Management Professional (PMP) or related certification.
• Well-developed understanding of cloud-based HRMS software, including knowledge of relational databases and table structures, and knowledge of other current technology offerings in the HR field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the relevant legislation and regulations with the ability to communicate the legislative significance and relevance to the work practices.
