Overview

Main purpose:

The job holder is responsible for supporting & ensuring consistent implementation of processes & policies related to the various domains of Human Resources, i.e., Salary and Benefits, Recruitment, Core HR processes, Grievance Redressal, Permits & Licenses, Contractual Manpower, Vendor Management and Statutory Compliances. This position is also responsible for security management at site and dealing with external legislative and local .

Responsibilities

Accountability:

Core HR Processes
• Partnering with HR Manager to implement core people process.
• Partnering with business leaders to understand organizational goals and challenges, providing strategic HR guidance and insights.
• Developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring effective talent acquisition, performance management, and employee development.
• Collaborating with HR teams to design and deliver comprehensive HR programs and initiatives, fostering employee engagement and enhancing the employee experience.
• Conducting workforce planning and talent management activities, identifying skill gaps, and developing succession plans to support organizational growth.
• Acting as a change agent, driving organizational change, and effectively managing change initiatives to optimize employee productivity and acceptance.
• Analyzing HR data and metrics to generate insights, providing data-driven recommendations to improve HR processes and support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborating with HR teams to support employee training and development initiatives, promoting continuous learning and skill enhancement.
• Providing expertise and guidance on HR policies

Legal & Statutory Compliances
• Ensuring strict adherence to Legal & statutory compliance
• Providing expertise and guidance on labor laws, and compliance matters, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and best practices.
• Responsible for procuring required Licenses & Permits for plant.
• Ensure GCS controls are adhered

Employee & Community Relations
• Leading and participating in employee relations activities, including conflict resolution and mediation, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Maintaining harmonious relations with community members like sarpanches & village headmen

Salary And Benefits
• Structuring compensation and benefit package for the frontline team
• Conduct benchmarking study with the industry on frontline salary and benefits
• Govern end to end frontline payroll processing.

Annual Operating Plan
• Responsible for formulating the annual operating plans for the cost heads under its control.
• Partner with HR manager in ensuring that the costs are within the annual plans.

Security

Responsible for plant physical & asset security

Qualifications

Key Skills/Experience:
• Graduate with a diploma/degree in Human Resource Management, MBA is preferred.
• Experience in FMCG will be an added advantage.
• Proven work experience as an HR business partner
• Excellent people management skills
• Analytical and goal oriented
• Demonstrable experience with HR metrics
• Thorough knowledge of labor legislation
• Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices

Differentiating Competencies Required:

The position is an independent position with complete authority, responsibility, and accountability. The incumbent is expected to deal with all the stakeholders for delivering the key people agendas of the site. The person must engage with the functional leads, line leaders and the plant employees for ensuring the accountabilities listed above.

The incumbent must work in close co-ordination with the HR manager in driving the above-mentioned agenda. The position holder works under the constraint of seasonal business.

All above requires incumbent to be collaborative, passionate, determined with high execution skills.

The person should be able to connect well with the team, analyses the situation fast and provide quick solution to fix the problem
