Manager of Financial Accounting Analysis
This role is designed to enhance collaboration and productivity by allowing associates to work in-office 1 - 2 days per week, combined with the flexibility of virtual work. This dynamic workplace encourages both structured engagement and the autonomy of remote work.
The Manager of Financial Accounting Analysis will play a crucial role in overseeing month-close processes and leading project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage all month-close operations, including the review and approval of journal entries, reconciliations, and related financial reports.
• Guide and mentor teams of associates, ensuring high-quality outputs and professional development.
• Analyze complex accounting data and financial trends to provide valuable insights and support strategic planning.
• Convene and lead committees to develop, implement, and enhance accounting processes and systems.
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations and standards.
• Tackle highly complex financial issues, leveraging innovative solutions and collaborative leadership.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior accountants, fostering growth and expertise within the team.
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 6 years of experience in general accounting, finance, or budgeting/planning is required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or an MBA are preferred.
• Experience with automated general ledger systems, particularly Essbase and PeopleSoft, is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly with PivotTables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and advanced formulas for data analysis and reporting.
