Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain a multi-year strategic roadmap for hardware refresh, outlining replacement cycles, prioritization criteria, and enterprise hardware standards.
• Evaluate hardware performance and support status to proactively identify end-of-life and end-of-support risks, translating them into actionable refresh initiatives.
• Plan and oversee large-scale refresh projects, encompassing demand forecasting, procurement management, warehouse staging, imaging, deployment, and rollback strategies.
• Institute and uphold refresh policies and procedures for laptops, mobile devices, and network equipment to ensure consistency, security, and compliance throughout the process.
• Facilitate secure decommissioning and disposal processes, ensuring data sanitization and compliant recycling or destruction of retired assets.
• Maintain robust relationships with hardware vendors regarding trade-in credits, warranty services, and advanced replacement programs.
• Utilize asset and configuration management systems to sustain accurate inventories, track the status of refresh activities, and generate insightful metrics and reports for leadership.
• Align refresh planning with security baselines and enterprise architecture standards to assure that hardware platforms accommodate current and future operating systems along with critical applications.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in IT hardware lifecycle management, asset management, or large-scale deployment/refresh projects.
• Proven experience in coordinating procurement, warehousing, and deployment activities for IT equipment in a corporate or enterprise setting.
• Familiarity with asset management and configuration management tools used to maintain inventory and lifecycle statuses.
• Eligibility to obtain and retain a Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship is required, with the ability to travel less than 10%.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certification in IT asset management or hardware lifecycle management (such as CHAMP or similar).
• Experience in delivering refresh programs within highly regulated public-sector or federal contexts.
• Exposure to ITIL-based IT Service Management processes and their integration into hardware lifecycle activities.

The compensation outlined for this role serves as a general guideline and is tailored to the specifics of the position.
