Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to handle transportation, fleet management, and dispatch operations at our Karad location. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely dispatch, cost control, vendor coordination, and smooth logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage transportation and fleet operations (road/rail dispatch)
• Ensure vehicle availability as per daily dispatch plan
• Control and optimize transportation and freight costs
• Handle vendor and transporter management
• Coordinate with internal departments such as production, packing plant, marketing, purchase, and accounts
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance related to dispatch
• Monitor dispatch performance and avoid delays or penalties
• Lead and manage the logistics team at site
• Prepare MIS reports and track operational KPIs
