Job Description
Collaborating closely with other P&C Managers, your responsibilities will be multifaceted and include:
1. Senior Employee Relations Advice: You’ll provide expert guidance on employee conditions and entitlements, ensuring fair and effective solutions.
2. Orchestrating Strategic Workforce Initiatives, fostering engagement, and cultivating outcome-driven partnerships.
3. Developing Learning and Development Tactics to enhance staff competencies.
4. Coordinating HR Policy Frameworks to ensure organisational compliance.
5. Managing Industrial Relations, including the oversight of Enterprise Bargaining processes.
6. Facilitating Dispute Resolution in accordance with the Code of Conduct and escalated performance management issues.
7. Analysing HR Data (apart from recruitment & WHS) to inform strategic decisions.
8. Supervising Payroll Operations and the execution of shared services.
+. Leading Employee Engagement through active consultation and managing Human Resources Committees, including the Workplace Consultative Committee (WCC) and the RAP working group (RAPWG).
Additionally, you will manage a small team, working in partnership with executives, managers, and employees to provide quality, best practice HR advice. Your support will be instrumental in building innovative and streamlined HR processes that strengthens the Museum’s capability and overall performance. In our small team, you’ll also have the chance to contribute to other areas of HR, including performance management and diversity and inclusion efforts.
