Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced US Accounting Manager to lead end-to-end accounting operations for US-based clients. The ideal candidate must hold a CA or CPA qualification and possess at least 5 years of relevant experience in US accounting. This role requires strong technical expertise, client management skills, and the ability to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for US clients.
• Ensure accuracy of general ledger, financial statements, and compliance with US GAAP.
• Prepare and review financial reports, budgets, and variance analyses.
• Manage client communication, addressing accounting queries and providing financial insights.
• Supervise and mentor a team of accountants, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Coordinate with auditors and tax teams to support annual audits and tax filings.
• Implement internal controls, process improvements, and automation for efficiency.
• Stay updated with changes in US accounting and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
• Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in US accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, accounting principles, and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (Online & Desktop), Xero, NetSuite, or similar tools.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication for client interaction.
• Ability to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and deliverables.
