Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
• Responsible for India plants books accuracy - both India and US GAAP
• Responsible for general accounting and policy application & process administration for all cycles including inventory, revenue recognition, receivables/payables, intercompany etc.
• Understand and interpret applicable US GAAP and India GAAP, Enterprise Standards, SOP and Process Maps to deliver globally competitive financial process/accounting services.
• Developing in-depth knowledge of a discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired expertise to execute functional policy/strategy.
• Candidate has to be self-driven and work in demanding situations with proven interpersonal skills.
• Communication and stakeholder management in a an multicultural, multinational environment with direct colleagues and stakeholder is critical and quick understanding of the business operations process, design and coordination services rendered will be expected.
• The individual is also expected to guide team members and ensure continuity and should be able to decipher and explain complex information in a straightforward manner.
• The role operates with autonomy and is focused on execution of activities/provision of advice within an enabling discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Activities require professional judgment but may require more senior levels of guidance from the candidate.
• Utilizes technical expertise and judgement to solve problems. Leverages technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
