What role will you play?
In this role, you will use your physical commodities trading knowledge and analytical skills to provide expert advice on front line trading risks. You will support and facilitate the continued improvement of processes, controls and operational risk awareness and culture across our businesses. As a subject matter expert you will partner with the trading desks and leverage your technical expertise to develop a comprehensive knowledge of all processes to proactively manage the operational risks. You will provide advice on a broad range of risk matters, assess new product and business initiatives, investigate incidents and test effectiveness of controls.
What you offer
5+ years' work experience in a position related to physical commodities trading, scheduling, logistics or risk management. Operational Risk experience highly regarded
High achievement drive, with strong resilience
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills and comfortable interpreting commercial issues within a technical risk mindset
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with a demonstrated ability to work with senior business and risk colleagues to drive, challenge, and influence, as well as lead conversations regarding anticipated and emerging issues.
