Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Marine Claims Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Marine Claims team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex Marine claims, providing high-quality customer service, and developing strong relationships with insured claimants, legal representatives, and brokers.
Key Responsibilities
Manage claims from notification to resolution, working closely with specialists to achieve efficient settlement outcomes.
Determine and communicate indemnity decisions in a timely manner, adhering to company policies, industry standards, and legislation.
Develop and maintain accurate records of claims management and outcomes, negotiating effective settlements as needed.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will require:
Significant experience in marine claims handling, with a strong understanding of technical and policy interpretations.
Proven ability to manage diverse portfolios, including collaboration with loss adjusters, solicitors, and expert consultants.
Familiarity with the General Insurance Code of Practice and its applications.
