Job Description
We will provide industry specific training and instruction with our software package "Commander". The ideal candidate will have some experience in the parts field (marine, automotive, heady duty, powersports, etc) and the ability to learn new systems and computer skills.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide over-the-counter marine parts sales to customers
Engine and Boat Sales from leading manufactures
Assemble parts orders and distribute to customers
Sales on complete repowers and boat packages
Order parts from suppliers
Inventory control including shipping and receiving duties
Respond to phone and email customer inquiries regarding parts, sales, and service
General store cleaning and maintenance duties
Showroom stocking and organization
Engine and boat sales
A successful applicant will have:
General knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) systems
Knowledge of electronic parts systems/catalogues, and basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, etc)
Experience in parts industry (marine, automotive, heavy duty equipment, powersports, etc)
Ability to work independently or with a team under minimal supervision
Professional demeanor, strong communication skills, good command of the English language
Excellent prioritizing, time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
The ability to perform job duties (some heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time)
A driver’s license valid in BC
