AEMO’s Market Registrations Division facilitates and manages an efficient, effective registration application experience through collaborative, impartial and robust working relationships with stakeholders. This in-depth process is key for anyone wanting to enter and participate in the National Electricity Market (NEM) or the National Gas Market.

About The Role

In this role, you will ensure beneficial registration-related outcomes are achieved through analysis, education, investigation, and leadership. You will learn a breadth of market and registration related requirements governed by the National Energy Rules (NER), the National Gas Rules (NGR), AEMO policy.

What You Will Be Doing

Facilitate and manage an efficient and effective registration application experience through collaborative working relationships with stakeholders.
Administer and coordinate the registration and onboarding process in accordance with the regulatory framework and market registration policies.
Maintain accurate records of registration applications and decisions in accordance with regulatory and internal policy.
Compile and draft documentation related to the assessment of registration applications.
Identify and drive changes to improve registration processes.
Demonstrates compliance with Workplace Health and Safety, Anti-Discrimination, and Competition and Consumer Acts.


What You Will Bring To The Role

Education/ Certificates

Tertiary qualifications in commerce or business, or relevant industry experience


Experience and Knowledge

Experience in a compliance or regulatory role.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Demonstrated detailed knowledge and expertise in the use of Microsoft Office suite of products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
