Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an Email Marketing Manager to join our digital marketing team. As an Email Marketing Manager, you will be in a high-impact role, collaborating with divisions to develop email marketing strategies that will drive customer growth and contribute to strong engagement amongst our existing customer base. You will be designing customer segment strategies, building deeper insights into segmentation through data analysis, and reporting on email list quality and growth. You will also be hands-on with email operations, building effective automated programs and improving our internal workflows. Overall, you’ll be working with a team of passionate marketers who are focused on delivering an exceptional experience for our customers and strong results for the business, in a fun and collaborative environment.
This role works closely with the Digital team, Marketing Data Operations, IT for marketing automation and stakeholders across various business units.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and drive the email marketing channel and related analysis
• Develop engagement strategies that reflect an understanding of customer needs and customer intent
• In collaboration with the Divisions, design and implement email campaigns that deliver on engagement strategies
• Analyze and understand our customer database and segments in Oracle Eloqua platform
• Analyze and report on channel and campaign performance
• Facilitate reporting to demonstrate marketing impact
• Work closely with internal and cross-functional stakeholders (Design, Brand, Legal, Business Units, etc.) to assist in the design and approval of email campaigns
• Ensure adherence to email permissioning requirements
• Implement email marketing best practices
• Help evaluate new innovative opportunities to drive engagement and/or results
Education
Required Qualifications
• 3-5 years’ experience in managing and executing email marketing campaigns
• Must have experience with ESPs and/or marketing automation technology such as Eloqua or Silverpop
