The opportunity and team
Our Growth team is seeking a marketing advisor to join our dynamic marketing and communications team based in Auckland on a 12-month parental leave cover role.
This role will primarily focus on supporting flagship marketing initiatives and events, with the opportunity to work on some of Deloitte’s largest external campaigns, including the renowned Fast 50 and Top 200 programmes.

What does your typical day look like?
This role supports the team and the wider business in bringing our brand and purpose to life through developing and delivering engaging marketing plans and marquee events. From supporting with our digital advertising, to working on email marketing and internal communications initiatives, and from campaign planning to event delivery, it’s safe to say no two days in this role are the same!
Key elements of this role include:
Supporting key firmwide integrated marketing campaigns
Providing sponsorship and event support for marquee Deloitte events and initiatives
Supporting email marketing activity via our email system, Marketo
Digital marketing and internal comms support, including writing for our website and intranet, and helping drive our presence online through digital advertising

Minimum three years’ experience in a marketing and/or communications advisor role preferred
Experience in developing and implementing marketing and/or communications campaigns
Experienced at, and interested in, event and sponsorship management
Able to build good working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Knowledge of marketing communications tools and platforms such as SharePoint and Marketo is preferred but not required
Organised and tech savvy – able to pick up systems and processes quickly
Ability to quickly understand multiple issues, manage multiple projects with conflicting priorities, prioritise critical communications and deliver all work at a high standard
Fluent English language skills, both written and oral
Strong attention to detail
