Lianzijia Ltd, established in 2016, is an international trading company with offices in Auckland, New Zealand, as well as Changsha (Hunan) and Haikou (Hainan), China. Over the years, Lianzijia has built strong partnerships with renowned New Zealand wineries including The Wine Portfolio, Te Motu, and Paritua. We are the exclusive agent for Nikau Point, and have also developed our own wine label, Te Whanau 大•家.
Beyond wine, Lianzijia also supplies seasonal New Zealand products such as fresh fruit, beef, and seafood through its China-based distribution centres, meeting a wider range of customer needs. As our business continues to expand, we are now seeking up to three experienced Marketing and Sales Specialists to join our team and help us grow our brand presence and market share across New Zealand and international markets, particularly China.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, and organise advertising and promotional campaigns to support sales objectives in both domestic and international wine markets.
Advise company executives on marketing strategies to reach target markets, increase consumer awareness, and effectively promote New Zealand wines.
Coordinate production of marketing and advertising materials, including digital content for social media platforms (e.g., Xiaohongshu, WeChat), artwork, copywriting, and media placement, ensuring delivery within time and budget constraints.
Research and analyse market data, including consumer preferences and buying patterns, to guide marketing strategies.
Interpret and forecast consumer trends to identify opportunities for new campaigns and product positioning.
Conduct market research to assess potential demand, market characteristics, and competitor activities for New Zealand wines in China and other export markets.
Support business growth through execution of marketing objectives and programs, including hosting wine-tasting events and brand promotions.
Provide advice on key elements of marketing strategy, including product mix, pricing, advertising, promotional activities, and distribution channels.
Terms and Conditions:
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours per week minimum, 40 hours per week maximum
Pay Rate: $32 – $36 per hour (based on experience)
Work Location: Epsom, Auckland City.
Start Date: Immediate or by agreement
Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Marketing, Business, Advertising or a closely related field.
Experience: With no formal qualification, at least three years of proven marketing experience, including developing and executing campaigns, social media marketing, content creation, and market research,
Experience within the wine industry or international trade will be highly regarded.
Strong knowledge of the New Zealand wine industry with a New Zealand liquor licence and WSET Level 3 or higher will be highly regarded.
Familiarity with the Chinese wine market and the ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin will be considered an advantage.
Willingness to travel internationally to attend trade fairs, client meetings, and promotional events as required.
