Job Role: Marketing Associate (Events)

Role and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a candidate with a creative mindset and amazing communication skills to join our team.
You will be responsible for conducting online and offline events, managing the Discord zoo community, and ensuring a seamless experience for all the participants.
• Provide support and assistance in successfully conducting and moderating offline/online events, including podcasts.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at improving the learning experience, engagement, and satisfaction of participants in events.
• Contribute to marketing initiatives to help increase the reach and effectiveness of all the events.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams to ensure best-in-class project execution.
• Ensure all participants follow rules of conduct during events to promote a positive experience for all attendees.
• Engage and build relationships with the online community on Discord.
• Design, organize and conduct online activities, new content format, and incentives to keep the community engaged and growing.
• Plan and organize engaging offline events to increase reach and enhance participants’ experience.
• Monitor and provide feedback on engagement/conversation/community sentiment.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to candidates.
Required skills:
• Young graduate with 0-2 yrs of experience in moderating events or community roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• People's person - comfortable in initiating and holding conversations.
• Have to command over tools like Zoom, Typeform, Airtable & Asana.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and perform under pressure.
• Knowledge of gaming, esports, pop culture, news, and current events and are interested in pop and music/sports- culture.
• A good sense of humor will help you go a long way
