Working in a business which is all about unique and quirky products, our successful Telford client has a been doing extremely well and they are now looking to bring in a new Marketing Executive to help deliver on growth of sales in certain markets. Whilst the main focus and aim of this role is to be the standalone marketer for the business, the client has mentioned that they do all support in answering calls and therefore this would also be part of the role, but likely to be very small volumes. Full product training will be given, some of this will be in their European head office so some travel will be required.
You will be responsible for:
• Assisting with some general marketing to reduce the company using external marketing agencies for certain campaigns.
• This will involve things like designing flyers, assisting in writing press releases, social media updates and any additional marketing that you feel comfortable and confident in supporting with.
• Getting new products and examples into publications to boost reach.
• Writing articles for magazines.
• Attending exhibitions, both as an attendee as well as an exhibitor.
• Receiving requests for samples and arranging for them to be sent out - also creating first class samples brochures for those key accounts.
• Looking into awarding bodies to see what awards they can be considered for. They have already won many awards for the quality of their products.
• Receiving calls and emails from clients/ customers.
• Answering their queries and processing their orders into the CRM system.
• Sending out order confirmations and acknowledgments.
Skills And Experience
To be considered for this role, we are looking for someone who is bright, dynamic and keen to be part of a growing business where you can add real value. From the marketing side, we are looking for someone who is confident in marketing and design, where you can come up with new ideas and know how to implement them. We are also keen to find someone who is happy working in a small but growing UK team where you are happy to take some of the calls when they come in and help the wider business. If you do have more experience, then I am sure they would be more than happy to expand the duties of the role and allow you to run with more responsibilities.
