Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities: -
Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
Assist customers with finding the perfect piece of jewelry, providing expert knowledge on products, services, and trends
Build relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals
Achieve personal and team sales goals on a daily and monthly basis
Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, new arrivals, and store promotions
Help maintain store appearance by keeping shelves stocked and organized, and completing regular cleaning duties
Process transactions quickly and accurately, following all company procedures
Handle customer questions and concerns in a prompt and courteous manner
Upsell additional products and services when appropriate
Participate in weekly team meetings and training sessions
Perform opening and closing duties as needed
Help with special events and trunk shows as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications: -
Proven sales experience in the jewelry industry
Excellent communication, customer service, and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines
Basic math and computer skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Skills and Qualifications: -
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
Skills with upselling or product recommendations
Knowledge of word processing software
Familiarity with standard style guides
Experience working with content management systems, Word Press, etc.
A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design
