He/she may create marketing strategies, may implement on these strategies, or both, with varying responsibilities based on company size conducting market research, brainstorming and executing ideas, and taking on individual tasks assigned to achieve business goals. A thriving marketing employee understands the basics of branding, marketing campaigns, and product promotion.
Objectives of this role
Support marketing Manager in delivery of effective marketing programs that achieve company’s objectives.
Assist in execution of a variety of marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, trial and distribution, including the day-to-day execution across marketing campaigns, promotions, and sales support.
Support the development and execution of sales and marketing materials, adapting scopes, timelines, and deliverables as needed for maximum benefit.
Daily and Monthly responsibilities
Collaborate with team members to execute sales and marketing campaigns, leading brainstorming sessions to execute marketing plans for internal and external projects.
Meet with clients to plan and implement various marketing campaigns for brand-building and lead generation that align with overall company goals and sales targets.
Contribute to other lead generation and customer-acquisition activities, such as sales enablement, media promotion, networking, trade shows, and events.
Undertaking daily marketing administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
Conducting market research and analyzing consumer rating reports/ questionnaires.
Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information.
Assist in the organizing and assisting in promotional events/ activities, exhibitions and traditional or digital campaigns, planning, marketing, organization and administration.
Prepare and deliver promotional presentations.
Help gather, analyze and present brand, competitor insights, trends, and data.
Monitoring and managing social media.
Producing internal communications. Your employees need to understand your company, its values, its goals and its priorities.
Marketing is often responsible for employee communications through a newsletter and/or intranet.
Responding to media queries and grabbing leads by focusing on target markets.
Communicate with customers and encourage trusting relationships.
Required Skills and Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field.
2+ years of experience with marketing, sales, or advertising.
Hands-on experience developing campaigns and promotions.
Proven success in a fast-paced environment, working with a team and individually.
Good understanding of office management and marketing principles.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, online analytics, B2B portals etc.)
Exceptional oral and written communication skill, people skills and presentation ability.
