Commercial Marketing

With household names like British Gas at the centre of our portfolio, our family of iconic brands offer you the chance to open career-changing doors. In marketing, we’re really excited about the future. Why? Because we’re at the heart of helping millions of customers through the energy transition and we want to be bolder, braver, and more relatable than ever before.

The Commercial Marketing scheme runs over 2 years and 3 months. You will kick-off with a 3-month foundational placement in one of our contact centres, learning first-hand about our products and our customers – and setting you up for success throughout the rest of the programme.

After that, you will complete 6-month placements in:
• Core Marketing
• Product and Propositions
• Research, Analytics & Insights
• An area of your choice

You could be involved in anything from brand, content marketing and media, public affairs, eCommerce, proposition development, performance marketing, and so much more! The scheme is designed to ensure that you gain a breadth of marketing and business experience by rotating around our different businesses, brands, and marketing teams. You’ll work flexibly throughout the programme, with your main office location being Windsor.

Here's what we need from you:
• Expecting a minimum 2:1 degree (2:2 if combined with a Masters)
• Willing to relocate
• Have the right to work in the UK at the start of employment
• Available to start the programme on 30th September 2026
