Hours: 32.5 hours per week (10am-5pm)
Salary: National Living Wage
To support a small, busy and thriving team at Max Rollitt, working across all three strands of the business: Antiques, Interiors and Bespoke. The role will have a focus on digital skills within a marketing context.
Responsibilities:
• Support the upkeep of the marketing calendar, factoring in both external events and the comings and goings at Yavington Barn.
• Support day-to-day website management and the implementation of new dev work, including general maintenance, uploading product and press cuttings, working on SEO and liaising with our external tech support to brief and test dev work.
• Work across the CMS and Workhorse (our stock inventory programme) to support data management and updates.
• Support the general upkeep of the showroom (including some manual handling) so it’s always client-ready and can be used for photoshoots – both planned and impromptu – and general content creation.
• Develop content ideas that can sit across multiple platforms.
• Assist on photoshoots, both in the showroom and off-site where required.
• Support asset management: archiving; filing; and labelling.
• Instagram:
Inspiration – regular competitor research and ideas generation to stay up to date with trends (where appropriate) and functionality.
Capture – assist styling and photography.
Scheduling – assist plotting of posts and stories, in line with marketing calendar.
Enquiries – gather relevant information in order to reply to follower comments and DMs.
• Prepare regular newsletters ready for sign off using Mailchimp.
• Ad hoc assistance with antique sales process, including maintaining the sales board and occasional P&P.
• Assist with events in the showroom and/or off-site where required.
• Understanding the role effectively in order to hand over to incoming intern.
Person Specification:
• Foundation or HND level in a design-related or marketing field.
• Proven IT skills, to include all MS Office programmes.
• Experience of using social media in a professional context.
• Experience of Adobe suite, particularly Photoshop.
• Genuine interest in the design industry.
• An understanding of marketing for interiors and/or product design.
• Highly organised with excellent administrative skills.
• Logical thinker with an eye for detail and design.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Creative initiative.
• Adaptable and friendly team player, with a resourceful approach and an enthusiasm for learning and solving problems in a busy and creative environment.
• Driving license essential.
• Able to assist with manual handling.
