Job Responsibilities:
The role of Marketing Manager India has 4 dimensions:
1. Marketing strategy / Market Intelligence for the territory of India
2. Marketing activation in the territory
3. Marketing in DG channels with customers
4. Marketing Communication
(1) Marketing Strategy / Market Intelligence
a) Collect and analyze mega-trend and industry policies.
b) Collect and analyze market data and intelligence, manage data providers, agencies, research firm, etc.
c) Monitor market & competitive activities and provide regular marketing analysis reports to higher management team.
d) Align with APAC regional sales strategy and key projects to perform analysis and studies on the evolution of market demand and competition to understand market dynamics and evaluate new growth opportunities.
e) Work collaboratively with Marketing team members to shape and document competitive and market intelligence needs, and manage workload aligned with critical outcomes effectively
f) Focus on key business questions and frame business problems into intelligence and research plans; provide integrated findings and insights that drive sales and marketing strategies for the LONGi product portfolio in APAC region.
g) Collect, analyze, and report information by systematically using a variety of internal and external sources to support the intelligence needs of APAC region.
h) Apply foundational consulting skills, including consultative listening, problem definition, hypothesis generation, data analysis, translation to value, and oral and written presentation to achieve goals.
i) Conduct desk research, consume intelligence, insights feeds and work closely with other internal data owners to secure to use important information for market and competitive intelligence to frame insights
j) Align work to needs of APAC Marketing Director.
(2) Marketing Activation
a) Localize marketing materials and drive activation to meet the buisness objectives in terms of volume, revenue and brand preference;
b) Reinforce LONGi Solar brand and product messaging in solar conferences, exibitions, webinars and brand-to-business activities
c) Cultivate local media contacts, develop local media content and pitch media stories to the local media to reinforce LONGi brand, product and corporate messaging in the local markets
d) Build digital content and local stories relevant to the target segments
e) Assist global marketing team in the execution of large-scale exhibitions and events in the territories where required
f) Interface with local solar associations and industry forums to obtain local market information and gain professional knowledge for business opportunities
g) Every quarter, prepare report on marketing actions, local competitive brand and channel information and activities
(3) Marketing Activities for DG Segments in C&I and Residential Segments a) Working closely with India Sales and Technical Marketing teams – develop the marketing plan and execute the activities with DG customers in order to deliver the annual business targets in the DG segment
b) Ensure all marketing activities are aligned to LONGi brand guidelines, messaging and agreed budget、
c) Conduct regular contacts and customer face-to-face visits to understand customer marketing requirements, establish long-term partnerships and refine the marketing plans.
(4) Marketing Communication
d) Own marketing and communication strategy, interpreting HQ initiatives, and rolling out in APAC region, define LONGi brand position in APAC region and according to market analysis and internal evaluation, and create practical plans accordingly
e) Collect news materials and communication information from HQ, pass them to overseas content editors, and organize internal communication material management
f) Execute LONGi branding strategy, lead branding material generation (including brochures, videos, company introductions, gifts, posters, and signage), plan and lead offline campaigns and PR appearances through collaborating with conferences, summits, seminars to develop business opportunities
g) According to the company's marketing planning program, responsible for the company's external daily work promotion and advertising and other design resources organization
h) Organize advertising placement and monitoring management according to domestic advertising strategy
i) Lead internal communication projects such as internal case study manual, CSR events and more
j) Align and link the Marketing Communication department output with the broader commercial strategy
k) Lead special campaign initiatives in collaboration with agencies and internal stakeholders
l) Oversee and manage digital marketing operation including WeChat, LinkedIn, E-mail, Website, Facebook, Twitter etc.
m) Generate and organize marketing toolkit and support other work required for APAC marketing communications
n) Lead and develop the Marketing Communication team in the organization
Qualification required:
• Bachelor's degree is a must; master is a plus.
• At least 8 years' work experience and 5 years relative working experience in similar position.
• Familiar with industrial segments, or automotive industry, or renewable energy, and respective products.
• Good communication skills.
• Good to use analytical tools would be a plus.
• Innovative and creative.
• Business fluency in English, written and oral are a must.
• Open minded, delivery focus, self-motived and logical thinking.
• Frequent travel is required
