Job Description
Key Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
With Vice President of Marketing and Communications, develop a comprehensive social media strategy for Levine Music’s primary and subsidiary social channels with an emphasis on follower growth and increased engagement.
Manage the day-to-day operations of social properties by maintaining content calendars, crafting posts, sourcing media, and acquiring necessary approvals.
Establish relationships across departments to source storytelling opportunities that celebrate Levine’s exceptional students, families, and faculty.
Work independently or in partnership with the Digital Media Producer to develop content in various media and for various channels that drive enrollment, event attendance, community engagement, and/or contributed support.
Work with the Director of Marketing and Communications to report on social media analytics as well as reporting across all digital properties, tracking KPIs on user engagement and the efficacy of content output.
Design digital and/or print material to support the promotion of Levine’s courses either as a lead designer or in partnership with freelance support.
Assist with email marketing campaigns as needed.
Assist with website updates and management as needed.
Assist the entire Marketing and Communications team with other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate has:
Bachelor’s degree, Marketing, Communications, Music, or an arts-related field, or an equivalent degree, training, and experience
1-2 years of relevant experience
Strong writing and communication skills
Demonstrated experience creating high-quality digital content that successfully impacts KPI’s
Knowledge of digital marketing channels including social media, email marketing, and SEO
Excellent organizational, administrative, time management, and interpersonal skills
Understanding of current best practices in marketing and content creation
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Comfortability with Adobe Creative Cloud
Proficiency with Canva
Basic photography skills and light video editing ability
Strong interpersonal skills and an excitement to work across teams and departments to lead and/or participate in a variety of projects
Willingness to learn and, importantly, a sense of humor
Compensation: $50,000 to $60,000 annually
