Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies, methodologies, and creative trends

Pay determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location

Responsibilities
Within established policies and department procedures, the Marketing Officer, Corporate Events is charged with developing, implementing, and leading in-person and virtual events to support the bank’s expanding business and service network
Manage all aspects of the bank’s internal and external events, including in-person, virtual, and hybrid, from concept to completion
Events include the Annual Charity Golf Tournament, Economic Outlook in Fall and Spring, Branch Anniversary Open House, Walk for Hope, Scholarship Recipients, Branch Networking, and regional Lunar New Year events
Create event strategy and plans
Manage and track budgets and negotiate contracts
Coordinate with vendors and business lines to meet the event goals and expectations
Provide exceptional customer service to clients and guests throughout each event
Source gift items for specific events and manage distribution
Work with in-house Graphic Designer and third-party vendors on event-related creatives, print materials, and webpage updates
Coordinate with other departments to ensure branding, compliance, and legal alignment

General Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Officer, Corporate Events, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for organizing and executing successful events, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions
• Manage all aspects of the bank’s internal and external events, including in-person, virtual, and hybrid, from concept to completion.
• Events include the Annual Charity Golf Tournament, Economic Outlook in Fall and Spring, Branch Anniversary Open House, Walk for Hope, Scholarship Recipients, Branch Networking, and regional Lunar New Year events.

Qualifications
Education:
• College degree in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline preferred.
Experience
• Minimum 5years of experience in administrative, event planning, hospitality, or related areas, including marketing and corporate event settings.
Skills/Ability
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills. Proven experience in events management or related field. Budget management skills and proficiency. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and consistently meet deadlines. Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies, methodologies, and creative trends. Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary. Strong problem-solving, resource management, and time-management skills. Highly organized, results-oriented with strong attention to detail and good follow-through skills. Team player ensures team and department goals are met or exceeded. Highly enthusiastic, and self-motivated. Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Fluency in English, and Chinese preferred.
