Position Summary

Constellis is hiring a Marketing/Sales/Events Manager to be part of a dynamic and growing team located in Moyock, NC The Marketing/Sales/Event Manager supports the Marketing and Communications Department and the Mission Support Services (MSS) Division in marketing project management, writing and editing, customer relations, special event planning, business development/sales, and content management across all marketing vehicles.
Responsibilities
• Develops and produces internal and external marketing materials for print and digital collateral, presentations, websites, intranet content, press releases and more
• Researches, writes and edits copy for a wide variety of communication deliverables
• Manages and writes content for collateral, presentations, website, intranet/SharePoint and more
• Manages Constellis' social media pages (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Glassdoor) and regularly takes photos and videos for social media promotion
• Coordinates logistics for tradeshows and supports company events as required
• Researches speaking opportunities and assists in speaker proposals
• Researches industry award opportunities and assists in award submissions
• Researches advertising opportunities and assists in creative production
• Plan, manage and supervise special events on site
• Building and maintaining customer relationships
• Develops internal reports for marketing and media initiatives
• Coordinates marketing material fulfillment requests and shipments
• Manages and promotes company brand
• Supports recruiting and HR efforts through strategic marketing and communication campaign development, creative and engagement
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree preferably in Marketing, Communications or Journalism
• 7+ years of work experience preferably working in a marketing and communications role
• 5 years solid writing, editing and research experience, preferably within the services industry preferred
• Knowledge of AP style and portfolio required
• Graphic design and Adobe InDesign experience a plus
• Marketo experience a plus
• WordPress experience a plus
• Depth in web technology, social media tools and metrics
• Solid project management skills
• Creative eye for layout and design
• Experience in recruiting and HR communications and campaigns a plus
• Drive for excellence and detail-orientation with high standards for quality
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proactive and eager to facilitate initiatives internally
• Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously
• Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if required
• Ability to plan and manage special events
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships across multiple organizations

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday standard core hours, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
