Paralegal Responsibilities
• Preparing affidavits, legal correspondence and other documents for attorneys.
• Organizing and maintaining documents in a paper or electronic filing system.
• Meeting with clients, attorneys, and other professionals to talk about case details.
• Filing pleadings with court clerk.
• Helping prepare for trial by organizing exhibits and assisting with other tasks as needed.
• Preparing briefs, wills, contracts, real estate closing statements, pleadings, appeals, and other legal documents.
• Investigating facts and laws of cases and searching public records and other resources to prepare cases and determine causes of action.
• Directing and coordinating law office activity, including delivery of subpoenas.
• Gathering and analyzing statutes, decisions, and legal articles, codes, documents and other data.
• Calling on witnesses to testify at hearings.
• Keeping law library up-to-date by monitoring legal volumes.
Paralegal Requirements
• Certificate of completion from an ABA-approved paralegal certification program of education and training, or an associate degree in paralegal studies.
• Associate degree.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Must be able to effectively multi-task, manage time-sensitive documents and have exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to function effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment.
• Office administration experience.

Job Description :
The candidate will be part of the legal advisory team responsible for providing comprehensive transactional
advisories to various business verticals and be responsible for managing the contract life-cycle (i.e. drafting, review,
negotiation, execution and storage of contracts).
Responsibilities
- Drafting, review, negotiation & finalization of varied nature of business contracts
- Providing comprehensive legal advisories and opinions to internal business teams
- Collaborating with team members and cross functional teams for day-to-day activities
- Understanding and implementation of companys SOPs, standard agreements, and templates
- Impart trainings on legal issues / SOPs for business verticals
- Contract management handling process for storage and retrieving of original agreements; maintenance of necessary data sheets in this regard
- Supporting senior team members in achieving desired team objectives
- Work closely with other members of Legal Advisory team; other departments within Legal vertical, various internal business teams
- Engage with empaneled law firms / legal consultants in respect of the assigned work
Competencies & Skills:
- Experience in drafting, review, negotiations and finalization of legal documentation (agreements, memorandums, undertakings etc.)
- Professional ability to interpret laws and find solutions for complex legal issues
- Ability to work well in a high-pressure environment and within strict timelines
- Must be highly motivated and able to function independently in a hands-on environment.
- Should have excellent analytical and execution skills
- Should possess excellent communication skills with internal and external stake holders
- Conduct work with integrity and responsibility
- Maintain knowledge of alterations in legislation
- Should have good understanding of applicable laws and ability to implement them after understanding
- Skills for using / operating MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and MIS report preparation
- Customer centric and outcome oriented
