Our client, a long standing Women’s Health practice, is actively seeking to appoint a Medical Receptionist to join their team in a permanent, part time capacity. This role would be working closely with the other Medical Receptionist and Practice Manager. A remote Medical Typist is also a part of the administration team for the practice.
This part time position would see the successful candidate working Monday, Wednesday and Thursday (8am to 4pm) in the practice based in Greenslopes Private Hospital. This role would be best suited to a candidate with experience using Genie software.
Key duties and responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
Meet and greet of patients visiting the practice with a polite disposition
Taking all incoming phone calls and assisting patients with general enquiries
Preparing and running patient clinics, including patient appointment bookings
Entering of all patient information into Genie, reviewing upcoming clinics, and ensuring all patient records are in order before the day of clinic
Managing patient appointment reminders
Processing of all patient billing/receipting for consultations
Booking relevant tests and day procedures for patients
Management of practice emails, diaries, and appointment schedules
In addition to the key duties and responsibilities, Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
Previous experience using Genie software for patient management
Previous experience working within a specialist practice, experience within a similar practice is highly desirable
Immaculate personal presentation
An exemplary phone manner and empathy for the patients and their families
Must be a team player with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to multi skill and work under pressure
A strong desire to provide a high level of service to the patients of the practice
Full training and on boarding support will be provided to the successful candidate.

Remuneration
An hourly rate within the range of $28 - $36 per hour + super is on offer for this position.
