Wage: $21.50/ hour to start.
JOB SUMMARY:
As a key member of the administrative team at the Club, the Member Services Agent is responsible for helping to facilitate outstanding Membership services for over 4,000 Members.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Front Desk reception duties such as warmly greeting Members and Guests
Directing phone calls and answering telephones inquiries in a timely fashion
Ensuring Guest registration and overseeing Member entry into the Club
Typing invoices, menus, meeting agendas, photocopying and updating the Function Events board
Ensuring Members and Guests are informed of, and follow, Club policies, rules and by-laws.
Sorting, distributing, and preparing daily mail and magazines for Members and monthly mailings.
Maintaining bookings and reservations for the Club and confirming with Members.
Logging all purchases made at Member Services
Sorting Member's payments
Communicating with Co-workers and Managers on a daily basis of updates and/or information.
Assisting all departments with clerical functions where needed
Assist in the training of new Member Services staff.
Canceling and assigning Member lockers
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient experience with Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience with Jonas Club Software considered an asset.
Past receptionist/administrative experience an asset.
High school graduation or post-secondary education.
Occasional early morning/evening/weekend availability required.
