Verigon is a rapidly growing contract electronics manufacturer serving high-reliability industries. In spring 2026, we expanded by opening a second state-of-the-art factory. As we continue to scale and take on increasingly complex projects, our business systems must evolve to meet higher demands for efficiency, accuracy, and integration. To sustain this growth, we are seeking an MES Support Engineer to maintain the ongoing operation and enhancement of our MES system.
Position Summary:
As the MES Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing our digital Manufacturing Execution System (MES), ensuring smooth operation and continuous improvement of our production processes. The selected individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate the manufacturing process into electronic process flows within the MES system.
As an MES Support Engineer, you will analyze real time data, refine business processes, and drive change towards a more productive and quality focused factory.
Qualifications/Skills
- US Citizenship required.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial, Information Systems, Manufacturing, etc.) or equivalent experience is required.
- Five or more years of experience in electronic assembly manufacturing.
- Business process knowledge: strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, operations and how MES is applied.
- Ability to interface with other functional groups (Engineering, Test, Quality, Management, etc.) on both strategic and tactical levels.
- Flexible in performing many functions from process mapping and basic IT support to traditional Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering tasks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization in English.
- Problem Solving/ Critical Thinking Skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Familiarity with MES or ERP software is a plus.
- Aegis Factory Logix knowledge preferred.
Responsibilities
- Configure MES process flows by translating engineering-defined manufacturing processes into electronic work instructions for the shop floor.
- Provide day-to-day support for the MES system, including troubleshooting, user assistance, and issue resolution.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve user-reported challenges with ergonomic solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering, production and quality departments to align MES configurations with operational requirements.
- Facilitate the collection, analysis, and reporting of real time data to drive efficiency.
- Support the team with system upgrades and updates, validating new software revisions.
- Maintain documentation of MES process flows, configurations, and workflows for knowledge sharing and compliance.
- Support integration between MES and other systems.
