Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: 5:00am - 2:15pm (flexibility as needed), Monday - Friday, Weekends as needed
Hourly Rate: $20.26
What You'll Be Doing:
Verify specifications on each batch and scan in immediately for accuracy of reporting. Always follow work orders and BOPS exactly and report when this is not possible.
Ensure food safety compliance and specified quality parameters are met in each run.
Ensure product area paperwork and documentation is accurate.
Ensure food and personal safety hazards are corrected quickly and effectively to meet company and legislative requirements.
Prompt resolution and follow through on issues and escalate when required.
Understands high care and allergen requirements.
Understanding daily schedules.
Understands how to operate various types of machinery safely.
Knows process of cooking ganache, caramel, and apple filling.
Knows process of pastry and crumb.
Able to train General Labourers on tasks.
Can complete some Mixes independently.
Able to lift and/or move up to 25lbs regularly.
Other tasks, as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1-3 years of Food Manufacturing experience.
Bonus Points If You Have:
Dessert Manufacturing Facility experience.
Strong BRC (or similar GFSI) knowledge and experience.
Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, OHSA.
