Role Description
Dicksons are looking to appoint a group dealership accountant on a full time basis to help and assist the finance director on a day to day basis, the role will look after the management accounting function of the business and help support sales admin.
This role would suit someone that has a varied knowledge of accountancy, previous motor trade knowledge would be advantageous.
Candidate does not have to hold accountancy qualification but should have experience of working within industry and practice.
The main duties of the role
Prepare monthly management accounts for the business
Full balance sheet reconciliation
Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
Monthly reporting of Franchise composite information
Implement controls that would assist reporting
Maintain fixed asset register
Assist department managers and directors when required
