We are on the lookout for experienced, hard-working and motivated MPU Operators to join our growing Platinum family, we have permanent fulltime positions available within the Bowen and Gailee basins.
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, these positions will be offered on a 7:7 even time roster with flexible travel arrangements dependent on site and location.

Your key responsibilities include:
Loading holes and calibrating MPUs
Navigating various terrains
Assisting with bench hand duties
Working within OEM parameters
Maintaining excellent health and safety practices
Following directives from a licensed Shotfirer
You will have:
Previous experience as a MPU Operator within the coal industry
Standard 11
QLD Explosives Security Clearance Card OR ability to obtain one
Heavy Rigid (or greater) Drivers Licence
Certificate or proven training in conducting mobile mixing of explosives
A can-do attitude and excellent communication skills
Fit, healthy, and ready to do the hard yards
The ability to pass a pre-employment checks inclusive of medicals and national background checks
