We are looking for a Multimedia Artist/Designer to help scale our venture-backed interactive storytelling platform – Scriptic (BAFTA-nominated and available on Netflix). We are leveraging GenAI tools to produce compelling live-action dramas on mobile. Since our inception, our north star has been to become 'the HBO of story games.'
Our groundbreaking, phone-first format sits at the intersection of film, TV, and games, making it perfectly native to mobile. Our flagship series Dead Man’s Phone won acclaim by putting players in the shoes of a homicide detective solving murders through the smartphone of victims.
The studio closed a $6M round of venture capital in April 2026 (total $10M in funding to-date) led by Tier 1 global gaming venture fund – BITKRAFT – and streaming giant, Amazon. Other notable investors include the unicorn founders of Unity (David Helgason) and Twitch (Kevin Lin).
Scriptic content blends imagery, audio, text & video into a seamless live-action interactive experience, which can be powered by the spectrum of Generative AI tools (MidJourney, GPT-4, ElevenLabs) at a fraction of traditional media costs.

Position: Three Month Contract / Remote-First
Pay: Competitive Daily Rate
Responsibilities:
• Generate, edit, and deliver photo-realistic imagery for in-game Scriptic content. This involves working mostly with Midjourney to generate base assets, or manipulating stock photo libraries as well as finalising in Photoshop as required.
• May also require occasional physical photography (mostly using a smartphone with a capable camera).
• Collaborate creatively with the Creatives to understand what image/video assets are needed to tell their story in the best possible way.
• Manage/collate requests, advise on feasibility, alternatives and realistic timelines.
• Liaise with AV Editor & Director to ensure consistency across all asset types (e.g. if the same characters appear in various images and videos).
• Own the end-to-end delivery of still assets, including storage, structure, file naming and continue to refine and improve this process.
• Refine and improve Scriptic image generation pipeline, including scalability considerations.
• Liaise with marketing to share and assist with any promotional material.
• As and when required additional support for in-game and marketing assets.
Requirements:
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of prompting primarily in Midjourney and other generative AI tools (e.g. DALL·E 3, Stable Diffusion).
• Proven, thorough knowledge of Photoshop. Experience using Photoshop’s AI tools and Adobe Firefly.
• Comfortable with difficult subject matter. We tell stories in the crime and horror genres and our assets may involve relevant images.
• Experience of performing image generation and manipulation work to scale and tight deadlines.
• Experience and knowledge of stock libraries as well as any rights considerations (e.g. awareness of releases, if assets need these for use etc.)
• Experience of structuring, organising and maintaining files, folders, and adhering to naming conventions
• Passion for storytelling.
Nice to have experience:
• Video production, sound design and post-production experience would be beneficial (Adobe Premiere, Blender, physical production experience) to assist where necessary.
• Converting still imagery to video. Bring to life still scenes through subtle animations and sound design via After Effects & Premiere.
• Knowledge of Lightroom (as well as interest/experience in photography). Useful to have experience with open source alternatives of the above (e.g. GIMP, etc).
• Having your own DSLR/professional camera equipment would be useful (but not required).
• Storyboarding and storytelling experience desirable.
