About this Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Murex Accounting Developer to join our team. As a key member of our technical consulting group, you will work closely with clients to design and implement custom accounting solutions using the Murex platform.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze client requirements and develop tailored accounting configurations for optimal results
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation and integration of new accounting features
• Design and configure advanced accounting rules, filters, and formulas to meet client needs
• Provide expert-level support for day-to-day accounting operations, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Participate in regular project meetings to ensure timely completion and high-quality deliverables
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience as a Murex Accounting Developer
• Strong knowledge of trade life cycle and events, including FX Cash and Derivatives, Money Market, Commodity, Fixed Income, and IRD Products
• Experience with setting up accounting rules, accounts, filters, and formulas
• Proficiency in troubleshooting Murex Trade Accounting, Position Accounting, and Flow Accounting modules
• Expertise in Accounting Configuration Setup and Murex EOD
• Familiarity with Liquidation Module of Murex Accounting
• Good understanding of journal posting and balances generation in Murex
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
