Role Description
This is a volunteer remote role for a Musician at CyMet Studios. The Musician will be responsible for creating, performing and recording music either alone or as part of a group. Tasks will include composing music, rehearsing, recording in a studio or in production locations, collaborating with other musicians and producers, etc. The Musician must be comfortable with various musical genres and will be expected to stay up to date with and incorporate current musical trends.
Qualifications
• A strong portfolio of recorded work and live performances
• A comprehensive understanding of music theory and history is anticipated but not mandatory
• Proficiency with musical instruments such as guitar, keyboard, bass, drums, or vocals with many years of experience
• An in-depth understanding of relevant music software
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities
• A degree or certificate in music or a related field may be helpful but not required
• The flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends
• Must possess a strong work ethic and a creative mindset
